BLC consultants do a mock inspection to evaluate the preparedness of the lab. We concentrate on five main areas: Quality Control (QC), Lab Procedure Manual and Policies, Calibration and Verification, and Proficiency Testing (PT).
Quality Assurance/Assessment (QA) BLC reviews all the other aspects necessary for a pending Lab Survey.
- Inspection Preparation
After the pre-inspection evaluation, BLC consultants formulate a task list and work with your lab personnel to achieve readiness for the CLIA/COLA Inspection. We create a calendar work plan with in-person meetings to ensure timely completion.
- On-site for State Inspections
BLC consultants join and assist lab personnel on the day of the laboratory survey. BLC consultants take detailed notes and present findings to the laboratory director.
- Post Inspection Follow-up
If found, BLC consultants immediately work to resolve any deficiencies from the survey. The State/COLA Plan of Correction is completed by BLC consultants to ensure swift and satisfactory responses.
