BLC consultants will do a thorough evaluation of the project to make sure the addition of a laboratory is profitable. This included analysis of lab send-outs and insurance mix.
- Design
Once a laboratory has been determined to be an asset to a medical facility, BLC consultants will design a layout which includes counter tops, cabinets, electrical and plumbing. Of course, work flow is of paramount consideration.
- Instrumentation selection
BLC consultants will recommend instrumentation based on specimen volume, practice specialty, expected turn-around-time (TAT) and cost effectiveness.
- Construction
BLC consultants will oversee the build-out of the lab to assure functionality of the incoming equipment and personnel.
